MASON, Ohio — All rides have reopened at Kings Island after the park said an animal caused a power outage impacting "much of the park" Monday morning.

Kings Island first reported a power outage just after 9 a.m., saying select rides were closed as they worked to fix the issue. A spokesperson later said an animal interfered with a power supply line, knocking out power for portions of the park.

"Our team will continue to provide the best possible experience for our guests today," Kings Island said in part.

The line was repaired and all attractions are currently open, the spokesperson said.

While the park did not close during the outage, they announced any ticket purchased for Monday would be valid any day for the rest of the season.
